Is your kitchen in a desperate need of some organization ideas? I realized, that mine is a couple of days ago, when I couldn’t find something I was looking for. When I’m in the middle of cooking and baking and I only have a little time, the last thing I want is to hunt for the things I need. So I hit up my good old trustworthy Pinterest and browsed through a ton of pins. Check out these DIY kitchen organizing ideas, complete with step by step tutorials, that I found are the best and most helpful ones!
Dish soap holder
Thank God for this idea, my dish soaps are always all over the place, making everything wet. This cake stand dish soap holder is very functional and also looks amazing, and it is also very easy to achieve. I will definitely do this one, what about you?
Baskets not only look good, but they are perfect storage in your kitchen! This hack is about storing utensils in it, but you can put so many things in different shaped and sized baskets! They are also a big trend now, so you can find them everywhere!
Double the countertop space
Our kitchen is quite small, I don’t know about you. I think we can all agree that we all can use more counterspace, especially when we are cooking a big dinner or cooking with our family or friends together. This little hack provides you with more counter space to work on using a burner cover. So clever and so easy!
Kitchen cart storage
Using a serving cart as your kitchen storage is such a clever idea! You can put all your stuff you have on your counters and free up space, so you can work there without having everything around you and make cooking stressful and annoying rather than fun. This cart definitely solves this problem!
Mason jar utensil holder
Mason jars are also an amazing way to store all your stuff, that has been just laying around. You can do some cool DIY projects to paint and decorate them to fit your kitchen aesthetics and your style perfectly!
Storing my cutting boards has been quite difficult for me. They are too big to put in my drawers and mostly I just had them on my counter and lose a lot of space. With this very easy idea I can finally have my cutting boards organized without having them in my way. I love this!
Pots and pans holder
Another project I will definitely implement in my kitchen! Storing pans and pots like this looks so chic, and it doesn’t make your kitchen look cluttered or messy. If you are short on space in your cabinets, this one is worth a try for sure! You just need to put some towel bars on the side of your cabinets, put on some hooks and you are all done.
Cutlery drawer organization
I thought it was just me who thought that cutlery trays are not the most efficient way to store all our cutlery and save space. It never fits in the drawer correctly and they only have a few spaces to put our cutlery in. With this hack however, we can save up a lot of space in our drawers and make the most of them!
Make the most of your deep drawer
Deep drawers are not the most functional spaces in my kitchen for sure. Somehow I can only put a few pots in it and there is plenty of space left above them unused. With this divider idea, there is no more unused space in these drawers!
Dollar store spice jars
I always admired people, who had all their spices in nice matching jars labelled and decorated beautifully and organized on the shelves. So far I just had all my spices in their half-opened bags, it looked quite sad to be honest. But now I’m going to buy some of these jars, print some cute labels and have them organized just like these ones!
